Fairtrade in Eastleigh Borough Campaign promotes awareness of Fairtrade and we are delighted to announce that The Fairtrade Foundation has recognised our achievements. With the full support of Eastleigh Borough Council, Fairtrade status has been awarded to the Borough of Eastleigh for its commitment to Fairtrade principles.

Eastleigh is now officially a Fairtrade Borough, after a resolution was made in 2005 to actively promote Fairtrade to consumers, businesses and community groups in the area.

Fairtrade Event with Shop Equality & AGM Wed 4 July 2012

On 4 July we held a Fairtrade event and looked back over the last 12 months of Fairtrade activity in Eastleigh Borough ( The Chair's report as presented at the AGM to follow shortly).  We also had an inspiring presentation from Sue Hunt who runs the new Shop Equality shop in Eastleigh centre- please do go and visit and say hello to Sue.  You will be hugely impressed by so many Fairtrade goods on offer, and hopefully encouraged by all the good work.  For directions and further details see the Shop Equality link in the list of Fairtrade Retailers in our Fairtrade Directory -  see the left Han
